A few weeks ago, BWM were briefed to promote Telstra’s sponsorship of a new TROPFEST mobile category in this country - Telstra Mobile Masterpieces. The best thing about it is that anyone with a mobile phone can enter.

The latest instalment in the “Time to call your mum?” campaign for Telstra was launched last Sunday (March 1) with a host of television commercials and a callmum.net website. The print, which launched just before Christmas, has been very successful. We expect the television and online campaign to drive sales even harder.

Jason Van Genderen’s beautiful Aussie short film recently won New York Tropfest. It was shot entirely on mobile. It’s a 3.5 minute film about Sydney and New York’s homeless and cost a whopping $57 to produce. More about the film here.
